During wine fermentation and maturing fine crystals are deposited. Potassium tartrate crystals are generated from combining tartaric acid with potassium or calcium and is done only when making wine.
We centrally collect the argol and yeast/sweet deposit/sludge for recycling. Special processes are applied to convert the argol to cream of tartar, rochellesalt and the yeast/sludge to natural tartaric acid. In their purified forms these quality raw materials have numerous uses.
